Gubernatorial Candidates Talk About Montana’s Tourism Industry

The candidates running for Montana’s governor seat recently shared what they would do to support travel and tourism within Montana in a Billings Chamber of Commerce/CVB Gubernatorial Insight newsletter. The candidates were asked to respond to the following question: “the leisure and hospitality sector represents 12.5% of all Montana jobs, and 1 in 14 jobs exists because of non-resident tourism. Knowing that tourism supports jobs and stimulates the economy with $2.45 billion in non-resident spending each year, what would you do to enhance travel and tourism within Montana?” Read their responses here.
