Clean-cut, classy Whitefish has enough resort-town swankness to elicit oohhs and ahhs—and the humble Montana upbringing to keep real about it. Sure, cosmopolitan winter wayfarers may arrive via locomotive, sample famous sushi, shop boutiques, and room in plush restored rail cars; but more often then not, we catch them tackling a third-pound greasy burger at the town watering hole, the Bulldog Saloon.
